I qualified as a State Registered Nurse (SRN) in Birmingham in 1989 and have enjoyed a varied and rewarding nursing career spanning both the NHS and private sector. Over the years, I have worked in a range of settings, including the Prison Service, the Regional Burns Unit, and as a Care Home Manager during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In 2014, I began my career as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in General Practice, working across several GP surgeries. I thoroughly enjoy the variety that each day brings and value the opportunity to care for patients of all ages and with a wide range of health needs.

I am passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centred care and draw on many years of clinical experience to support patients in achieving the best possible health outcomes.

Outside of work, I am a proud mum of two and a nanna to two wonderful grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy caravan getaways, creating special memories with my family, and cheering on my favourite drivers in Formula 1.

I began my pharmacy career at the age of 16 and have worked in the profession for over 11 years. After graduating from Keele University with a First Class Honours degree in Pharmacy in 2022, I progressed to the role of Branch Manager in community pharmacy before joining the practice in early 2025.

Since joining the surgery, I have completed my Independent Prescribing qualification and will begin Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) training in January 2027. I have a particular interest in pain management and respiratory health and am passionate about helping patients get the most from their medicines while supporting them to manage their conditions effectively.

My aim is to provide compassionate, patient-centred care while continuing to develop my clinical knowledge and skills to deliver the highest standard of treatment and support.

Outside of work, I enjoy weightlifting and CrossFit and love exploring the Lake District through hiking and outdoor adventures.
